I’m absolutely delighted with the Corporate Social Responsibility Award for the Knowsley Internship Programme – a programme delivered by Knowsley Community College in partnership with the Council which is giving young people with learning disabilities or difficulties the opportunity to show their potential and shine. The interns themselves are getting so much from the programme, not only through gaining invaluable work experience and qualifications, but also through enhancing their confidence and social skills too. It’s great that the programme has been recognised in this way.

We are absolutely delighted to have received the Award for Corporate Social Responsibility for the Supported Internships programme which we deliver in partnership with Knowsley Council. This Award recognised the partnership and the work of everyone involved, from the delivery teams, to parents, cares and mentors but most of all to our fabulous interns. The difference this programme has made to their lives and their families is outstanding and we are incredibly proud to be a part of such an innovative programme.
