Best Newcomer Award
Recognising the importance of businesses choosing Knowsley as their location, this award is open to all businesses that have commenced trading from January 2020 or located to Knowsley in the last 2 years.
Applications are invited from businesses operating in any sector and can be private, public or third sector organisations.
In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:
Evidence of a sustainable and financially viable business with a clear operational structure
Job creation
Evidence of a vision and strategy for growth
Market awareness including the service and/or product offer
Corporate Social Responsibility and Social Value. For example, apprenticeships (created/sustained), supporting young people into work, use of local suppliers, use of local skills/labour, bringing local businesses into the supply chain, community engagement/involvement, healthy living with safe materials, and ethical practice and labour
How the business is tackling and contributing to achieving net zero
