Community Award
This award celebrates the outstanding local charities, organisations, groups, individuals and businesses who work tirelessly for the benefit of the local community. Often without reward, individuals and community groups work behind the scenes, changing places and changing lives. Knowsley want to shine the spotlight on their remarkable achievements.
In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:
Beneficiaries of the service in the last 2 years
Drive, determination and clear goals
Effective leadership and management
Passion and integrity
Approach to Corporate Social Responsibility: For example evidencing social value, apprenticeships (created/sustained), supporting young people into work, use of local suppliers, use of local skills/labour, bringing other businesses into the supply chain, community engagement/involvement, health, and wellbeing initiatives.
How the business is tackling and contributing to achieving net zero
