Contractor of the Year

This award recognises Knowsley contractors and contractors delivering projects in the borough who demonstrate outstanding performance and add value to a development scheme. Judges will assess contributions to the Knowsley economy, alongside the quality of people, processes and project delivery. Entries should highlight excellence in supply chain management, local recruitment and skills development, sector promotion, and the safe, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects and the wider contribution the project has delivered.

In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:

  • Business success and growth – over the past two years.

  • Local economic impact – including contributions to the Knowsley economy, use of local supply chains and employment of local labour.

  • High customer satisfaction – and a strong customer experience.
