Corporate Social Responsibility Award (CSR)

This award recognises businesses that have gone above and beyond their core business activities to deliver meaningful, innovative, and sustainable social impact in Knowsley over the past year. Reflecting Knowsley’s “Better Together” ethos, it celebrates businesses with outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes that support local people, communities, and the environment through initiatives such as reducing environmental impact, supporting local causes, promoting employee wellbeing, creating opportunities, and strengthening community resilience.

In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:

  • Strategic Commitment to CSR – How CSR aligns with and supports the business’s aims, values, and objectives.

  • Impact and Outcomes – Clear evidence of the positive social, environmental, or economic impact achieved through CSR activities.

  • Creating Social Value – Activities such as creating apprenticeships, supporting young people into employment, using local suppliers, creating local opportunities, investing in local skills and labour, supporting community groups, schools, charities and voluntary organisations, volunteering, fundraising and promoting health and wellbeing.

Simply select the category or categories most relevant to your business (up to a maximum of three categories), complete the relevant nomination form(s) and submit them, along with your short video clip (optional) by email to:
