Development of the Year

This award recognises an outstanding commercial or housing development that has made a significant contribution to Knowsley through investment, regeneration, sustainability, and community impact. Judges will be looking for developments that have enhanced the local area, supported economic growth, and delivered lasting benefits for residents, businesses, or visitors.  The development must have received planning permission and is either complete or substantially complete in the last 2 years.

In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:

  • Economic Impact – Demonstrates a positive contribution to Knowsley’s economy through investment, business growth, or job creation.

  • Quality of Design and Delivery – Showcases high standards in planning, design, construction, and overall project execution.

  • Regeneration and Place-Making – Enhances the local area, transforms underused land, or contributes to wider regeneration objectives.

Simply select the category or categories most relevant to your business (up to a maximum of three categories), complete the relevant nomination form(s) and submit them, along with your short video clip (optional) by email to:
