Micro Business of the Year 

This award celebrates micro businesses, and the vital role micro businesses play in the local economy. Judges are looking for Knowsley based businesses employing between 1-9 staff (not part of a larger group) that can demonstrate outstanding success and/or a meaningful positive impact on the local community.

In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:

  • Business Success – growth, resilience, strong performance, and key milestones achieved.

  • Achievements & Innovation – entering new markets, developing new products/services, or introducing creative ways of working.

  • People & Culture – effective recruitment, staff retention, employee wellbeing, and engagement.

Entry is free.

Simply select the category or categories most relevant to your business (up to a maximum of three categories), complete the relevant nomination form(s) and submit them, along with your short video clip (optional) by email to:
