Knowsley Community College is a large further and higher education provider, with around 2,000 students undertaking courses and training at their Main Campus and Institute of Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Campus (IAMTech).
Their strong progression routes enable students to join the College at the age of 16 to study a T Level, technical, vocational qualification, or an apprenticeship, before then continuing their educational journey to degree level study and beyond. There is also a breadth of adult provision at Knowsley Community College, from short, leisure courses and community learning to professional qualifications to enhance employment prospects and support career progression.
In recent years, over £35 million has been invested in facilities to support their inclusive curriculum, whilst providing a first-class learning experience for students including commercial hair and beauty salons, 3G all-weather sports pitches, specialist engineering and construction workshops and much more.
Knowsley Community College is actively involved in the community, offering high-quality training and education opportunities to both residents and businesses. This collaboration not only provides excellent work experience, employment and apprenticeship opportunities for students but also supports employers across the Liverpool City Region to build a skilled workforce for the future.
They are committed to ensuring every student reaches their full potential through excellence in education and training, quality curriculum, inclusivity, aspirational learning environments and employer partnerships.
