Our house within the multi-award winning Energy 2.0 climate chamber at Salford University has been awarded Building of the Year in the Net Zero Awards, expanding on the award winning sustainability exemplar Zed House. Energy House 2.0 is a globally-unique testing chamber that will test the impact of extreme climates on modern housing. The chamber can recreate 95% of the world’s climates, recreating temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to plus 40 degrees and snow, rain, solar and wind.
