We are delighted to announce this year’s sponsor of
Employer of the Year
Barratt David Wilson Homes
Barratt Developments, comprising Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes is one of the UK’s largest housebuilders, building over 14,000 properties in the most recent financial year. Our Site Managers won 89 Pride in the Job awards from the NHBC this year, and we were also named an NHBC 5-star developer for the 15th consecutive year, both of which are more than any other housebuilder.
Barratt David Wilson Homes is the nation’s leading national sustainable housebuilder, creating great new places to live throughout Britain. Our business is acquiring land, obtaining planning consents and building the highest quality homes in places people aspire to live. This is supported by our expertise in land, design, construction and sales and marketing.
Our vision is to lead the future of housebuilding by putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
Barratt David Wilson Homes North West are delighted to be a sponsor of the 2024 Knowsley Business Awards. We pride ourselves on creating high quality designed schemes that underpin Building for Life 12 design principles. Creating Great Places is one of our key priorities. Since 2014 more of our schemes have achieved Built for Life accreditation than the rest of the housebuilding industry combined. We have a reputation as the industry leader in the quality of residential design, and we want to make sure that this continues.
Both on a regional and national scale, we endeavour to lead the way in sustainable housebuilding. We pride ourselves on building high-quality, energy efficient properties that save our customers thousands of pounds each year. We can proudly say we are the leading national sustainable housebuilder.
Our house within the multi-award winning Energy 2.0 climate chamber at Salford University has been awarded Building of the Year in the Net Zero Awards, expanding on the award winning sustainability exemplar Zed House. Energy House 2.0 is a globally-unique testing chamber that will test the impact of extreme climates on modern housing. The chamber can recreate 95% of the world’s climates, recreating temperatures from minus 20 degrees Celsius to plus 40 degrees and snow, rain, solar and wind.
We are committed to building the communities that our customers want to live in – delivering high-quality, sustainable homes at competitive prices to help address the country’s housing crisis and drive long term, sustainable growth.
We are proud of our relationship with Knowsley Council and are delighted to be a sponsor of the 2024 Business Awards.
