Webber (NW) Ltd is an established Kirkby based engineering company that specialises in mechanical pipework, secondary steel modification, steel stairs and balustrades. It is a supplier to construction majors such as Kier Construction, Wilmott, Dixon and Vinci, and employs 50 full-time staff, including engineering apprentices. It prides itself on its family ethos and likes to treat its customers, suppliers and staff as members of the Webber (NW) Ltd family. Most of the existing workforce are from the local area. Webber’s customers value and compliment the company on its agility and superior delivery cycle times. This feature of the operation stands out as one of Webbers USP. Webber (NW) Ltd has fully recovered from the adverse effects of the Covid pandemic having experienced a 50% growth in sales in the last 12 months.
Webber has recently been awarded a large contract on the new Everton stadium and work with other leading brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Laing O’Rourke, Wilmott Dixon, Kier, Vinci and Astra Zeneca.
