We are delighted to announce this year’s sponsor of

Making a Difference (10+ employees) Award

One Knowsley

At One Knowsley, we are proud to sponsor the Making a Difference Award at the Knowsley Business Awards 2026.

As borough-wide infrastructure leadership organisation for the community sector, we are proud to support an award that recognises those who understand that impact is about more than what an organisation achieves for itself. It is about the difference it makes to the people and communities around it.

We support and connect hundreds of community organisations working on the issues that matter most to local people, from skills and employment to health, wellbeing, inclusion and neighbourhood resilience. This gives us a unique understanding of Knowsley’s communities and a powerful ability to bring the right partners together to solve challenges and create opportunities.

We believe successful economies and strong communities go hand in hand. Businesses thrive when communities thrive. That’s why we work across sectors to create the conditions for inclusive growth, ensuring that economic success delivers tangible benefits for local people and place.  In our role supporting Knowsley’s voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector to be the best they can be, we see first-hand the incredible dedication, innovation and resilience that exists within our communities. Through our unique position at the heart of the borough, we see the transformative impact that collaboration can have.

This award celebrates the efforts and work to make a positive difference across our borough. It recognises those who often work behind the scenes to change lives, strengthen communities and demonstrate the power of social value, collaboration, and community leadership.

The organisations and individuals recognised through this award represent the very best of Knowsley. They are creating opportunities for people to thrive, supporting those facing challenges, investing in local communities and demonstrating that lasting change happens when people come together around a shared vision.
