We are delighted to announce this year’s sponsor of
Micro Business of the Year
SGD Fire Protection
SGD Fire Protection Ltd is a Knowsley based specialist passive fire protection company founded in May 2022 by Managing Director, Shaun Davidson.
From humble beginnings as a labour only operation, SGD Fire Protection has grown into a multi-million-pound, multi-accredited passive fire protection contractor delivering projects across the UK.
Dedicated to protecting lives, property, and buildings, SGD Fire Protection provides a full range of specialist fire safety services, including cavity barriers, fire stopping, penetration sealing, structural steelwork protection and fire compartmentation surveys. With quality, compliance, and safety at the heart of everything they do, the team helps clients create safer, fully compliant environments while preventing the spread of fire and smoke.
Marking four successful years in business, SGD Fire Protection has also strengthened its commitment to the local community with the launch of the SGD Foundation. The initiative provides funding and grants to Knowsley-based Community Interest Companies (CICs), supporting projects and grassroots initiatives that make a real difference to local people.
Built on hard work, expertise, and a passion for giving back, SGD Fire Protection continues to protect buildings nationwide while investing in the communities it proudly serves.
“We’re absolutely delighted that SGD Fire Protection Ltd has been announced as the official sponsor of the Micro Business of the Year Award at this year’s Knowsley Business Awards.
Having had the honour of winning this award ourselves last year, we know just how much it means. It was an unforgettable moment for our team, which makes it even more special to return this year as sponsors.
We’re excited to celebrate another deserving local business and wish the very best of luck to everyone entering. We can’t wait to see who takes home the award!”
