Applied Nutrition Ltd manufactures, distributes and exports sports nutritional products across the globe.
From its humble beginnings in 2014, the business has gone from strength to strength. During the last 12 months the business has invested heavily in a brand new manufacturing facility at Knowsley Business Park, making it 100% self-sufficient in manufacturing of their own high quality products. Product lines have grown, so has the workforce and turnover is up by an impressive 80%.
Since the ceremony last year Thomas has returned from two successful business trips to Dubai and America, he has also agreed new partners in Asia and Australasia putting Applied Nutrition and Knowsley firmly on the map.
“We have exciting new products in the pipeline and are constantly evolving, we never rest on our laurels. Success breeds success and we thrive on bringing the next new ground-breaking product to market.
Knowsley is my home as well as my business location, at trade shows across the globe we are often asked ‘where are you based?’. I’m proud to say Knowsley.
The prestigious ceremony last year was truly overwhelming! To be reminded of the hard work that we put in, and winning Small Business of the Year Award was the icing on the cake.
It drives me on to aim for the Medium Business or even Excellence in Manufacturing Award this year!”
