Small Business of the Year

This award celebrates small businesses, and the vital role small businesses play in the local economy. Judges are looking for Knowsley based businesses employing between 10-49 staff (not part of a larger group) that can demonstrate outstanding success and/or a meaningful positive impact on the local community.

In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:

  • Business Success – growth, resilience, strong performance, and key milestones achieved.

  • Achievements & Innovation – entering new markets, developing new products/services, or introducing creative ways of working.

  • People & Culture – effective recruitment, staff retention, employee wellbeing, and engagement.

Entry is free.

Simply select the category or categories most relevant to your business (up to a maximum of three categories), complete the relevant nomination form(s) and submit them, along with your short video clip (optional) by email to:
