Community Impact Award
This award celebrates the outstanding local charities, organisations, groups, individuals and businesses who work tirelessly for the benefit of the local community. Often without reward, individuals and community groups work behind the scenes, changing places and changing lives. Knowsley want to shine the spotlight on their remarkable achievements.
In shortlisting, judges will consider the evidence provided for the following:
Beneficiaries of the service in the last year.
Drive, determination and clear goals.
Effective leadership and management.
Passion and integrity.
Demonstrating social value, for example apprenticeships (created/sustained), supporting young people into work, use of local suppliers, use of local skills/labour, bringing other businesses into the supply chain, community engagement/involvement.
Demonstrating Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), for example the company’s impact on society, the environment (including net zero), and how transparent and accountable it is.
Inspiring others and shining the spotlight on the power of working together to achieve extraordinary things.
